Why Metta

Metta is a Pali word often translated as loving-kindness or benevolence; a concern for the well-being of others expressed not merely as sentiment, but as practice.

The name was chosen deliberately.

Organizations are human institutions. Leadership, management, systems, and strategy ultimately shape the conditions in which people work and the things they are able to accomplish together. Metta reflects a belief that rigor and humanity are not competing ideas. The best institutions require both.
